Control measurements can be divided into four main functions:

There are several ways of calculating differences using different comparison elements. The result is always stored as an attribute to the measured point. Using the results is the same for all calculation types. Additional function include import from other systems, mathematical conversion and export to e.g. data loggers.

Control calculations produce following attributes to measured points:

Direction dDir is defined by the calculation reference line. With breakline or roadline it is a tangent direction at the point position and varies between points. Control dX and dY directions are defined by attribute dDir. If it is missing or zero, directions of dX and dY and identical to coordinate axis directions. All other control values are not dependent from direction dDir.
