Calculate weight center

Calculates weight center or mean value of the given point group.

Weight center is the gravity center of the given points. Notice, that the points must be given in a right order - either clockwise or counter clockwise. Mean value calculates the center point of the given points. Points can be given in any order.

Shows amount of points in group.

Dx, Dy, Dz

Shows deviation of the point group.

3 sigma

If this is selected on, all points having deviation bigger than 3-sigma, will be excluded from the calculation. These points are not removed - just excluded. When you select next point, all point will be included and 3-sigma control is used to remove faulty points.

Used

Shows amount of points used in calculation.

Copy XY

Copies coordinates to the clipboard as a comma separated text. By default copies only X and Y. With the Shift-key the Z is also copied. With the Alt-key decimal separator comes from system settings and field separator is tabulator. This format can be pasted directly to Excel columns as numeric values.

Save

Saves the current point. With the Shift-key resets function after saving. With the Ctrl-key all points used for calculation are saved.

Code

Activates the data copying from another object. The other object containing data is pointed by the mouse. By default only the object code is copied. With the Shift-key all attributes are copied including the line number. New points are then added to that line.

Back

Removes last point from the group.

Reset

Resets the function.

File

Active file element receiving saved points.

Mode, X

Displays current edit mode (move, rotate, add, etc.). The X button quits the mode and returns to the normal state.

CheckDuplicate special setting in Settings/Start Program defines whether active file is checked for duplicate points.

TopDataList

Defines which attributes are displayed first in the list. By default T1,T2,T3,T4,T5.
