Special settings

Special settings are not normally needed and they often help a small group of customers. Dialog help-button has * (asterisk), if special settings are available. Start special settings by Pressing the Help-button while holding down the Shift-key.

There are special settings also in format conversion: They are stored in convert.ini-file. Earlier you needed to edit this file manually, but now you can access the settings with Special-button in Edit-menu.

When you need instructions, press Help-button in Special settings dialog. This will take you to the Help-page of the current function or format.

Name

A list of variables/settings.

Value, Browse

A list of possible values. You may input values not included in the list with some settings. If variable type is file or directory name, you can use the Browse-button.

A list can be:

• a single value list: You can select the value from the list or input manually.
• binarylist: You can select one or more values from the list. Manual input is not allowed. The sum of selected lines is the actual value, so called binarysum.

The explanations in the list are mostly in English, but by using Help-button you see Help-page of the actual function and more detailed instructions. Special setting file default directory is user's setting directory.

Default

Removes the setting fron the settings file and restores default behavior.
