Shows the active file or selected points in the editor. If any points are selected, the function collects selected points from all files in the element list and shows them. Otherwise, it shows the contents of the active file.
If the active file is bore file, when displaying selected points, selected soundings are displayed. Otherwise, function displays selected points.
In profile and cross section windows function shows always window's active file. Files in main window element list must be viewed through the main window. Also, it is not possible to show only selected points.
In the sounding diagram window function shows only active sounding point.
The format used to show file depends on the type of the file:
If you hold down Shift-key while starting this function, you’ll be asked for the format. For some file types, the default display format can be changed in file settings special settings.
The last shown file will remain in the settings directory under name SHOWFILE.TXT. If you edit the file in the editor, changes are not updated to the program until you save the file from editor and read it again into the program.
With the Ctrl-key function asks written file name. Default directory is the active file directory and default name is the active file name with the extension txt.
If you use a RTF-file as header file, you should define an editor which can show RTF-files (e.g. WordPad or Word).
