Attribute and macro display format editing. Usable, for example, in Point view settings and Text format through the selection list.
Asterisks (*) in lists mean unused definition. Topmost fields show final format definition and example value formatted with it. Browse button allows changing of the example value.
Attribute or macro id.
Final format defintion as text. Can also be edited as normal text.
Sign can be added for positive values or value can be displayed as absolute value without sign. Angles can be normalized between -180 - 180 degrees or bearing between 0 -360 degrees.
Value can be displayed as percents, per milles, ratio or scale. First two options just multiply the value by hundred (0.1 -> 10) or thousand (0.1 -> 100). Third option displays value as ratio (0.2 -> 1:5) and fourth simply prepends value with constant text (2000 -> 1:2000).
Definitions r and g can be used to convert value from degrees to radians or gons. Definitions r and e can also contain for multiplying the value by power of ten. (e.g. r4 converts value to radians and multiplies it with 10000 and e3 converts value from meters to millimeters by multiplying it with thousand). Exponent is given in field following unit and can also be negative (e.g. e-2 divides by hundred). Definition v inverts slope to vertical slope mm/m. This value is always positive.
Amount of decimals in formatting. Dot alone uses coodinate decimals defined in user interface settings. Negative decimals round to the nearest power of ten.
In addition to normal rounding rules (asterisk), rounding can be forced either down or up. This works also with negative decimal values.
Constant text appended to the value (e.g. "%"). Character & can be used to indicate the value position within constant text (e.g. "(&)"). Giving unit text removes possible automatic unit (%, ‰) from the definition. Rightmost field is an exponent used with factor definitions r and e.
Displays zero values as empty strings.
Degree, minute, second and time formatting. Leftmost lists are used for selecting units and rightmost lists for characters after them.
Field width and fill character in Text format. Negative width aligns value to left and zero uses just separator character. Clipping determines if value longer than field is clipped from start or end. Separator is field separator character at the end of field.
