Directory and file group specific functions.

File group

It is possible to use separate group file to save names, order and possible element specific colors and point notations of the files belonging to the same project.

Files in the same directory as the group file are saved with file name only. All other file are saved with full directory path. This allows moving of whole projects form one directory to the other.

The group file name is added to the list of 10 last used files in main windows file menu, but member files are not added.

Open file group

Opens all files belonging to the group and sets possible element specific colors and point notations.

It is also possible to open groups from File/Open or from command line.

You can select group file directory by using Shift- or Ctrl-keys. Open with the Shift-key hold down: settings directory is used for file. Open with Ctrl-key hold down: the active working directory is used for file. Otherwise the last used group file directory is used.

Save file group

Saves the file names and possible element specific colors and point notations of all the files in the element list. One group file can have max 200 files.

N.B. this will save the file names into the group file, but the actual files are not saved with this function.

Directories

Unlike recently used files, these directories are common for all windows. Selecting the directory with the Ctrl-key makes it current directory.

Add directory

Asks directory and adds it to the bookmark list. Directory bookmarks allow file opening directly from specific directory.

Current directory

Adds current directory to the bookmark list.

Bookmarks

Upper directory list contains user defined directory bookmarks. Directory can be removed from list by selecting it with the Shift-key.

Recently used

Lower list contains 10 recently used directories. This list is updated automatically just like recently used file list.
