Starting program

When you start the program the following will happen:

1. Language

Language selection will be made automatically for the first time after installation. Language can be selected from a list. At this moment six languages are available: Finnish (FIN), Swedish (SWE), English (ENG) and Danish (DAN).

2. Libraries

EXE-files, DLL-files and 3DX-files required will be loaded to memory. If some of the files are missed, Windows will give information on this and the program will not start. Check that the files concerned have the correct path.

3. Authorized use

Using the security devices. If you do not have the right of use, the program will open with the License-dialog. If your system is protected by a HASP-gate lock, check that it is located correctly and press OK. Otherwise call your software supplier.

4. Interpreting command line parameters

Command line parameters can be used to control the starting of 3D-Win. With these you can define e.g. the name of the INI-file being used and what files are read automatically.

5. Toolboxes

User definable buttons for menu bar and toolboxes are opened.

6. Local directory

The existence of the settings directory will be checked. User must have write permission for that directory.

7. Start up -settings

Function in Settings-menu to select files to be loaded and functions to be started after program start up. Start up -settings.
