Calculating and editing the observation book. If you have already opened the observation book from the file list, it opens automatically to this function. If there is more than one observation book in the file list, the last one will be opened. You can open a new observation book in this function and the previous one will be removed.

The number of station points in observation book.
The total number of reference points joining the station point.
The total number of mapped points in observation book.
If you want to calculate the observation book in traversing mode, cross the checkbox before calculating. The program keeps a watch that the calculation runs smoothly (only one station point may be free) and will distribute the error with the Helmert program.
If a traversing line is measured using the traditional method (started from two known points and closed to two known points), it can be adjusted by using angle and coordinate errors. Select LSQ-method in the Settings/Calculations menu to use this traditional method.
Writing report. Report is an ASCII type file, which is displayed in a text editor.
The points, which have been created in the calculation function, are copied to the active file. During the calculation, new points are displayed individually on the screen. After they have been saved to the active file, the individual points are interpreted as points or lines.
Finding the known point coordinates from the database.
During the calculation the program shows those errors which exceed the specified limit. After calculating you can view the report which displays the errors.
Opens a new observation book for the calculation. The previous observation book is removed from the calculation function. You cannot join observation books together in this function.
Saving observation book in selected format.
Settings connected to observation book.
There are some special settings related to this function.
To generate line automatically without using line numbers (T2-field, only read).
1 create lines
You need to define also the code file. In code file any code acceptable only for single points, must have no line type (empty value).
Common settings.
1 skip fixed points
Fixed points in the observation book are not used in calculation.
User specified function to check traversing line observations.
Control file for showing results. Default is country specific control file OBS_xxx.DAT in local-directory.
