To hide triangles using mouse, feature codes (T3) or areas. Triangle stage can be either hidden or visible. Triangles are never removed from the model. Hiding is always directed to the active terrain model (see Automatic file selection). You can change the active element in the element list.
Select whether to hide, show, or swap triangle stage. With the Alt-key swaps pointed triangle side with adjacent triangle.
Hidden triangles are show with grey color and triangle made visible with cross hatch. These remain visible until dialog is closed or some of its settings are changed. Display update can also be forced by clicking anywhere on screen with the Ctrl-key. If Show hidden triangles setting is on, no special drawing is made.
Show hidden triangles when editing. The color of hidden and visible triangles can be chosen in Color settings (color 23). This function can also be used to show any holes in the model by selecting a bright color. Holes, which are actually large triangles, can now be seen clearly. Holes can also be seen with edge search function.
Change all triangles either inside any found area or outside all found areas.
Setting connected to Area function. With this you can choose whether a triangle that is not totally within the given area is shown/hidden.
Select triangles with mouse either by pointing single triangles or by holding Shift-button down and dragging with mouse and selecting all triangles mouse touches.
To change stage of single triangle or select the whole area by selecting one point inside an area. Area is a closed break line in the triangle file. Lines do not have to have to be actual areas.
Edit triangles by using breakline codes. List has only codes found in the active model. You may enter several codes separated by a comma. Pointing model line with the mouse selects line code from the list.
With the line loops through all breaklines and changes stage of every triangle having one corner point on a line with given code. With the area loops through all breaklines and changes stage of every triangle being inside/outside an area with given code.
Excludes islands within closed areas. Normally handles only islands with same code as the surrounding area. With the Alt-key all closed lines inside area are considered islands regardless their code.
Hiding or showing all the triangles. Can be used, for example, to remove all hides made previously.
Hides or shows triangles inside or outside given area. Area is selected using a search method. The function is similar to Search method/Area. With the Alt-key hides triangles touching the given line.
Executes triangle hiding with the code. With the Alt-key skips code check with islands.
