The calculated contour lines can be coded. Different line types can be used for basic, intermediate or leading contours. In the 3D program the feature code (T3) will control the drawing of the contour line and the codes available can be defined in code file.
All the contours will have this code if they do not match other specified height values below.
You can have three types of contours denoting different height intervals. These will have their own codes.
A particular contour level, which has a special code which overrides previous settings, for this contour.
Optionally, you can set the checkbox and write list of calculated heights and codes beside it: 3=9040,6=9041,10=9042,15=9043. Only listed heights are then calculated.
N.B. you can code the positive and negative contours with different colors. E.g. if the contour space is 2.0 meters, you give the code:
Default code for the negative contours
Leading contours code for the positive contours
Special contour code for zero contour
If you type a minus sign (-) in the code field, all contours with this code will be deleted.
Contours below ground level (Z < 0) have special rules: If you input a negative contour height, only contours having this height will be coded. This way you will only get contours for certain heights, e.g. 3 m, 6 m, 10 m and 20 m. Set the contour interval to 1.0 m and the default code to a minus sign (-). The other heights should be -3.0, -6.0, -10.0 and -20.0 for the special contour.
