Changing the codes by using conversion file. The conversion is made using conversion files, which you can create when needed. The function applies only to the active element. The change can be directed to any fields, and data moved in both directions.

This is required, for example, when you are exchanging information with another organization which uses a different coding system to you.

Operation can be executed also in format converter.

Attribute

Attribute to which the change is directed.

From left column to right, From right column to left.

The conversion file can swap information in both directions. In the first case left column contains search rule and right column contains values set to matching object. In the second case these are reversed.

Texts

Handles also texts.

Line points

Handles also line points.

Selected

Handles only selected objects.

Skip undetermined

If this checkbox is crossed, those objects whose codes cannot be found from the conversion file will not be changed.

Table

Name of the conversion file in use. File can be selected with the browse button. List remembers last 10 used files.

Opens conversion file in editor.
