Add attribute

To add attributes. By default attributes are added to both single and line points. With the Shift-key attributes are added only to lines.

Selected / Active file

Only selected points or whole active file are used.

Add missing

Use only points which don’t have the attribute yet. If this option is not selected, no new attributes will be added.

Replace existing

Allow replacement of existing attribute values.

Lines

Adds attributes to lines instead of line points.

Clear

Clear the selection lists.

Remove

Remove the given attributes from the selected points (selected points or active file).


Special settings

There are some special settings related to this function.

AttribSet1, AttribSet2, AttribSet3, AttribSet4, AttribSet5

You can define five attributes. Each attribute can have :

Attribute name. Max 8 characters. This name will be sued to save the attribute.

Attribute explanation. This will be shown in the dialog.

Input a comma separated list of values. You can use a macro #DATE, which will get the current date.

Example:

Attrib1=USER,User,David,Jack,Dick

Attrib2=DATE,Date,#DATE
