Binary format used by MM-field software. Can contain points, lines, observations, texts and attribute data. Format will be recognized automatically when opening a file.
MM-file can be read in either as a vector file or observation book. If you read it as a vector file, the observation are not read.
Attributes in MM-file are attached to points and/or lines. If you want to see the comment lines as attributes, use Special settings (see end of this page).
If you need to convert MM-file directly into MmAscii-file without format conversion, use function Tools/Utilities/Convert MM -> MmAscii.
There are some special settings related to this converter.
