Copy line

Function makes copy of breakline with side offset. Original line is pointed with mouse and copy based on current settings is displayed automatically beside it. When copying line to both sides or copying closed line to inside result may be several lines.

Save button saves copied lines to the active vector file. With the Shift-key copy is activated automatically as an original line. If result contained several lines, first one is activated.

Surface and code for copied breakline. Asterisk (*) uses the original line values. Browse buttons open code list and settings remember ten last used values.

Left, Right, Both sides

Line is copied to the left, right or both sides. If copying is made to constant height level and original line point heights are both side of this level, first line point determines the left or right side. With side offset zero, only one line is created always.

Offset and slope

Copies line to side with offset and slope. Offset sign does not matter and slope sign determines the direction of height change.

Offset and height difference

Copies line to side with offset and height difference. Offset sign does not matter and height difference sign determines the direction of height change.

Slope and height difference

Copies line to side with slope and height difference. Slope sign does not matter and height difference sign determines the direction of height change.

Copies line to side with slope and height level. Slope sign does not matter and height level determines the direction of height change.

Offset, Slope, Height difference, Height level

Copying method parameters. Each list remembers last ten used values.

Keep loops

In certain cases there will be loops after copying. Set this option on to not remove loops automatically.

Create line

Creates original line from points pointed by mouse.

Back

Removes last point of created line. With the Shift-key clears whole line and with the Ctrl-key closes line.
