Error limits

Error limits give a warning if errors become too large during a calculation.

Coordinates

Each coordinate can have its own error limit. Given in meters.

Observations

Error limits for angles and distance. Values in gons and meters.

No warnings

No warnings given while calculating.

Error limits for traditional traversing line

You can define three different classes and error limits in angles and coordinates. Select the line you want to use in observation book calculation.

Angle error will be given in seconds (cc) and the accepted error is calculated with the following formula:

Accepted error = value x √ n  , where n = number of corners in traversing line

Coordinate error will be given in meters (m) and the accepted error is calculated with the following formula:

Accepted error = value x √ L  , where L = traversing line length in meters
