Finding and comparing a point or groups of points and calculating differences in coordinates. With the Shift-key selects all single points, if there is line point in the same location.
Cross the checkboxes for the feature codes you want compared. If no feature code is required for comparison, i.e. you only require distance to nearest point, leave the field uncrossed.
With a search distance you can limit the amount of points checked. Value is maximum slope distance between points. If two values separated by comma are given, first value is XY-distance and second value is Z-distance. XY-distance is then horizontal and Z-distance is vertical. If the value is negative, only consecutive points are compared.
Selects all found point except the first one in each group. This is useful for finding duplicate points and removing them using point group editing.
Normally, only the active file is checked, but of this setting is selected, all vector file in the element list are searched.
Result file is cleared before comparison.
Last point on a closed line is skipped. It is not considered as same point.
This shows you the results in an ASCII-file.
